2022 Celebrity outfits

Adriana Hernandez

These are the top 11 outfits that caught our attentions in 2022!

1. At the biggest fashion soirée, the 2022 Met Gala wouldn't be the same without Billie Eilish. She ditched her usual baggy T-shirts and showed up in a corset. Here she wears a mint green boned bodice with a pretty square neckline adorned with giant purple flowers. A beige satin basket skirt is the "gilt glamor" style we've been so desperately looking for.

The green lace sleeves and ribbon choker combined with the color palette gave it a modern twist.

The whole look was reminiscent of the portrait of Madame Paul Poirson.

2. Paris Hilton

2022 Milan Fashion Week Barbie Glitz by Julien Macdonald

The Malibu TV queen was seen strutting in style at the Versace Fall-Winter 2022 Women’s Fashion Show wearing a tiny pink dress with Barbie pink fingerless gloves, vail, and her a pair of Day-Glo pink stilettos. The multi-millionaire was instantly recognizable thanks to her platinum blonde hair. Definitely one for the books.

3. Jenna Ortega

Corps Bride by Versace

Speaking of gothic, we couldn’t forget about our favorite goth girl Jenna Ortega. Arriving at the Wednesday premiere she wore a Goth Wedding dress, you could almost say it was Corps Bride-inspired. The black Versace dress consisted of a V-neck, cutout lace bodice, a high, dramatic slit, and a slithering train. Topped with a midriff long matching vail attached to a simple silver diamond tiara, silver jewelry, and platform heels.

4. Park Rosé Futuristic ’80s glamour by Anthony Vaccarello  The BlackPink vocalist arrived at the 2022 LACMA Art + Film Gala in a floor-length sultry diamond-shaped bodice and what seems to resemble the iconic Addams Family’s Morticia-inspired lower silhouette, and leaning into the 2023 expected trends with an attached modern hood, giving that extra flare that makes the whole look unique.

5. Harry Styles

Endless Gucci at Coachella stage during the 2022

The “As it was” singer frolicked around on stage wearing a custom Gucci look with hot pink metallic trousers, and a matching, open vest featuring crystal cherries and strawberries under a pink plumage coat. We love Harry Styles breaking the gender norms

6. Ben Platt

Gracefully Snatched by Christian Cowan

The American actor wore a waist-sinching corset with a silk charmeuse white tuxedo perfectly meeting the gilded glam dress code referencing men’s corsetry, making him the minority.

7. Ashton Sanders

Buffalo Soldier by Casablanca

Ashton Sanders had a brilliant take on the uniforms worn by the buffalo soldiers. The African-American regiment that was created during the civil war. Not only is it impeccably tailored, but the modern influences like the motorcycle gloves and the updated silhouette take it out of costume territory and allow it to be its own creation.

8. Demi Singleton A Classically Youthful Custom by Miu Miu The 15-year-old American actress, singer, and dancer attended the 2022 Oscars wearing a periwinkle-beaded custom dress which she states “aligned with the fashion story that I wanted to tell.” She pared this gorgeous piece with silver jewelry, a satin embellished clutch, and a snatching fish tail braid.

9. Nicola Coughlan

Stunning in Raven Goth by Christian Siriano

At the 2022 SAG Awards, the Bridgerton star was seen rocking a gothic semi-transparent floor-length dress with lacy sleeves giving it that goth staple look. A layered tulle bertha collar and a matching hemline. The actress stated how she was “-just going to have fun with this, and express-“ herself. Radiating her charming aura.

10. Rihanna’s Pregnancy Fashion

It’s really tough to pick favorites from Rihanna’s many stellar pregnancy looks

Not only did the pregnancy announcement shock us, she continue with her baby bump outfits. She showed us that women don't have to stop being fashionable just because they're pregnant and that they can still look good in regular clothes.

11 Blake Lively’s Met Gala 2022 Gown

We could not end this segment without mentioning the amazing Blake Lively and her amazing gown at the Met Gala. When Blake Lively unwrapped her Versace gown at last year’s Met Gala to reveal a long, “patinated” train, everyone was speechless. The dress—which was inspired by the Statue of Liberty—made for the perfect dramatic red carpet moment.(Vogue)
