Barbie x Openheimer Fashion

Adriana Hernandez

As the Barbie she is, Margot Robbie referenced different Barbie looks in her Barbie World Press Tour. Starting with the LA premiere, she shocked the public by in fact NOT shining in Barbie’s signature color, pink. Instead, Margot wears a black custom Schiaparelli dress, recreating one of the first Barbie dolls “1960 Solo in the Spotlight” Barbie.

In Juárez the fashionista donned a pink Balmain ensemble based on “1992 Magic Earring” Barbie.

In México City she wore Emilio Pucci which is based off the popular “1992 Totally Hair” Barbie.

For the Seoul premiere she actually wore two outfits, starting with a gorgeous Versace suit, based on a power suit “1985 Day-to-Night” Barbie which would turn from a suit to a dress.

For the Los Angeles press junket she’s wearing a poca-dot mini Valentino dress. Based on “2015 Pink and Fabulous” Barbie.

For the Seoul press junket she wears Moschino ensemble based on the “1964 Sparkling Pink” Barbie.

And l saved the best for last, my personal favorite, a custom Vivienne Westwood pared with Louboutin heels. And it’s based on the “1961 Enchanted Evening” Barbie.

Callian Murphy- J Robert Oppenheimer

Callian styled his nuclear energy with a black-pinstriped Saint Laurent suit, worn open over a sheer shirt, topped with high-waisted trousers, and a pair of Wyatt boots.

Emily Blunt- Kitty Oppenheimer

The gorgeous Emily Blunt wore an Alexander McQueen ’40s ensemble, an incredibly detailed dress with midriff cutouts and sequin tassels. Paired with the matching clutch. Photos don’t do this dress justice.

Florence Pugh-Jean Tatlock

Florence stole the spotlight with such a captivating look. A fiery red ball gown fresh off the Valentino runway. It features a v-neckline, figure hugging halter top with dramatic cutouts and a low-cut back followed by a long train.

Matt Damon- Leslie Groves

Matt donned a Dolce & Gabbana black single-breasted tuxedo with a peek of white underneath. Paired with black leather dress shoes.

Robert Downey Jr.-Lewis Strauss

Robert pulled up to the premiere wearing an all gray Tom Ford tuxedo which featured baggy trousers, a style the actor has been recently fond of.
