Oscar de le Renta is a fashion designer who was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, On July 22, 1932. He would become known during the 1960s when he was one of the “couturiers” who would dress Jacqueline Kennedy. In 1965, Oscar de la Renta would go on to set up his own eponymous company in New York. Carolina Herrera is a fashion designer who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on January 8th, 1939. She is widely known for her personal style and for dressing multiple First Ladies. Her first fashion collection debuted in 1981, which would lead her company to become global.
Gabriela Hearst
Gabriela Hearst is a fashion designer born in Paysandú Department, Uruguay, on November 3rd, 1976. She is a designer for both men and women. She launched her own eponymous label back in 2015. In 2016, she made headlines with the “Nina Bag,” which has an extensive waiting list.
Johanna Ortiz
Johanna Ortiz is a fashion designer born in Cali, Colombia, on October 2nd, 1973. Johanna Ortiz is a women’s clothing designer. She has now become an international fashion “guru” and is known for her “distinctive silhouettes and unique prints.” Back in 2002, Johanna Ortiz started her couture label in Colombia.
