In honor of it being May, we decided to give you guys a background of Cinco de Mayo. This year, is Friday, May 5th. Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican independence day. It is a day of celebration that we remember the victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla.
Some things do to in honor of Cinco de Mayo this year is to celebrate with family and party with friends. In Miami, there are going to be public parties, private parties, and mariachi music and dancing. And if you don't know where the parties are, you can go to Tacology at Brickell City Centre and eat as many tacos as you'll like, while having a live DJ and mariachi band playing in the back. Wynwood will also have different events happening on that day.
