Mental Health Month

Since May is the month of mental health awareness, self-care is the key to a good mental state, so here are some things to do for yourself this Month:

* Eating well: A well-balanced diet provides the fuel your body needs to get going. 

* Reduce your stress: Make time to do things that make you happy.

* Get sleep: Giving yourself generally 7-9 hours is just what your body needs. 

* Stay connected: Reach out to family and friends to catch up, making time to hang out with them too. 

* Vision board: Making a vision board is like setting goals for yourself for the year, and the easiest way to do it is on Pinterest with photos of what you want to happen this year.

* My favorite is taking a day for yourself to watch movies and do your hair, nails, and baking. Self-care requires paying attention to your emotional and physical needs, so it's important to take time for yourself. As much as you put people before your needs, always remember that you come first.
