Francesco Risso Brings a Marni
Collection of "Proud Normality and Proud Creativity" to Tokyo.
This show was at once haunting, playful, and bold. At first, some of the looks were giving couch but then we started to see looks that came more alive like the following photos, I love the looks I think the sweater vest with the pants was the best one, the cut was incredible and the designer kept taking it further and further.
Next up we have the Valentino Couture Spring 2023
Pierpaolo presented his Valentino Spring 23 collection, with men’s wear, which he is calling Club Couture. The inclusive designer said that he was inspired by nightclubs, because it's a place where you could go, to be free behind closed doors. The show had about ten menswear looks out of one hundred, and it was a little bit of everything. This season there's been a lot of discourse about fashion for fashion's sake it's not about being practical, it's about being show-stopping and a walking piece of art. Valentino has access to some of the most impressive materials on Earth.
And finally we have the one of the most talked about Fashion shows so far of this season:
Schiaparelli
Decadence reigns at Schiaparelli. It was a feast for the eyes! We saw voluminous coats with severe cuts, and the tailoring on the jackets was so exacting. Wide shoulders were emphasized by cinched waists. Not only that but we got this amazing look on Doja Cat by Pat Mcgrath. McGrath worked on this look for 5 hours! Will this be a new trend? Celebrities serving met gala-level looks on red-carpet fashion shows! And of course, there were the animal heads. creative Director Daniel
Roseberry stressed that no animals were harmed. These heads were made from hand-sculpted foam.
