Winter Formal Hairstyles

Deciding what to do with your hair can be an extremely hard decision. We picked a couple of hairstyles we think would look great with your outfit. Here’s guide on how to best compliment your hair with your dress style.

Dress Type

One shoulder→ you don’t want to cover your shoulders in a one-strap dress. If you wish to wear your hair down, try pinning it to the opposite side of the shoulder. If you do not wish to wear it down, try a side fishtail braid, a regular braid, or a low bun with a few strands outside. All of these should be worn on the side opposite to the strap.

Tank Neckline/v-neck→wear your hair half up, half down. Be creative! Try braiding two strands on opposite sides of your head and connect them in the back of your head to create a half up, half down look.

Bateau Neckline→ pull your hair back. Wear it in a high ponytail or a low bun. Try a braid leading into your bun or ponytail. For a simple hairstyle, wear your hair down, straightened.

Strapless→ wear your hair either all up or all down. A strapless dress leaves you with easy options for your hair.
